I wasn't sure how realistic a neck wound could look, but the way this piece sits flush against the skin and the red shading around the barbs really sells the gory effect. Used it for a zombie costume and got several genuine winces from friends.

Applied it in under ten minutes and the ripped skin effect blended right into my neck without any extra makeup. The wire itself has a real metallic look that caught the light perfectly at the party. Got more compliments than I expected for a quick costume touch-up.
